Social policy / Corporate culture

Equal opportunities

The management of the company is of the opinion that everyone should have the same opportunity to succeed in the company, regardless of gender, nationality, race or age. This principle is applied in all Mint group companies and the result is that by the end of 2021, exactly 50% employees were women and 50% were men. At the same time, they include all age groups, from 20 to 60 years old.

Salary conditions and benefits

Mint's policy is to offer its employees attractive and competitive financial conditions and benefits. Among the benefits offered by the company are the increasingly popular Multisport card, your own phone, laptop or meal vouchers. Success in this regard is evidenced by the long-term involvement of employees in the company.

Company owners are big supporters of low differences in salary conditions for employees and owners. Mint boasts an excellent owner-to-employee salary ratio of 2.9, which only reflects the management's fair treatment of its team of people.

Health and safety

Mint is committed to providing safe working conditions for its employees. It focuses on ensuring that employees feel good at the workplace and have created conditions for their work. We don't underestimate the sports aspect either, which is why employees have a Multisport card available to them, which offers them a wide range of sporting activities.

At the same time, it is important that employees are educated in the principles of workplace safety. Therefore, employees must regularly undergo occupational safety training.

The achieved success and health of employees is evidenced by the fact that for 2021, the injury rate was 0 % and the absenteeism rate was only 0.34 %.

Charitable activities

Mint and its owners love to help those less fortunate in life. On a regular basis, they contribute to various charitable organizations dedicated to improving the living conditions of the people around them.

For the year 2021, they contributed a total of CZK 3,306,000.

Cyber security and data protection

In today's society, information technology has become an integral part of our lives. Unfortunately, with the massive expansion and intensive use of the Internet in the everyday life of society, the misuse of these technological conveniences is also increasing. Today, we use computers and their derivatives - such as tablets, smartphones - for almost all conceivable activities, for normal communication, for concluding contracts, for keeping accounts, etc. Therefore, the importance of computer security and data protection as a whole must be realized. It is true that in previous years only experts were concerned with computer security, today not only ordinary computer users should be interested in it, but also company owners and entrepreneurs.

Recently, new infiltrations are constantly being developed on information technology users, and the ingenuity of attackers really knows no bounds. It is therefore obvious that all users should be regularly introduced to the basic concepts of security rules and how to best secure their computer, and company owners should take measures in their companies to protect information systems against various types of attacks and data leaks.

With all of the above in mind, we at Mint have approached this topic carefully and have put in place a set of rules and processes to ensure that data within the company is protected and secured from potential leaks. At the same time, we regularly analyze the current state of our information system, during which risks are analyzed and solutions to improve protection are presented.
